A cutesy concept (famous in the US and UK) comes to Mumbai for the pampered kids. The Build-a-Bear-Workshop is one of its kind international chain that allows shoppers to build a new toy in over 30 varieties including teddies, bunnies, kitties and more. The step include, choosing a toy, selecting a sound for the toy, stuffing it, placing a heart inside, stitching it, fluffing it, naming it, dressing it and taking it home with a birth certificate et al. The concept is so well loved that even adults enjoy the process as much as children do. The launch of the new store in Mumbai's suburbia saw many yummy mummies getting their children to be a part of this wonderful (but expensive) activity of building your own bear friend from scratch. The Murjani group has bought the store to India and the opening took place with Mohan Murjani and US Consulate General Micheal S Owen cutting the ribbon.
venue - Shoppers Stop, Juhu, Mumbai.
